The firm is led by Ali (Al) Rostin, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and International Education Advisor and member in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). With over 20 years of combined experience in research, teaching, management, leadership, international education, entrepreneurship, and immigration advising, Ali brings a unique combination of knowledge and practical expertise to each client case.
Professional Experience
In addition to leading Rostin Canada Visa, Ali served as an Immigration Advisor and RCIC at the University of British Columbia (UBC) during 2013–2014 and again in 2017–2018. In this role, he supported international students, researchers, and professionals with study permits, work permits, and pathways to permanent residency. His experience in both the public education system and private consulting has given him a deep understanding of Canadian immigration from multiple perspectives.
